Missions is about sharing Christ with a lost and dying world.
Henry Blackaby states in his book Experiencing God that “God is already at work in the world and that He is inviting us to join Him.” God is at work in WMU here at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

WMU has a 4 fold purpose:
1) to learn about missions through monthly mission programs and yearly mission emphasis studies,
2) to pray for missions work and missionaries on the mission field daily (see prayer calendar in “Missions Mosaic” magazine, or “Open Windows” devotion book),
3) to participate in missions here in our community, our country, and our world ( Matthew 28:19-20) through mission opportunities and in your everyday lives
4) to give to missions work through special offerings: Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon, Mrs. JD Chapman .

For the next two years our WMU theme is “ALL FOR YOU: Surrender, Sacrifice, Serve!” as we make God’s Name known throughout the earth. Having just celebrated 125 years of WMU, Wanda Lee the executive director/treasures of the national WMU says our next response is a call for recommitment to surrender all we have and place it before HIM, seeking to build on this foundation of the past. We will be learning how to do this in WMU.

Our WMU watchword is Mark 8:34, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”

How can you be a part of missions here at Bethlehem Baptist Church? Come to WMU meetings, participate in mission opportunities, pray for missions, and give to missions.
God is inviting you to join Him in His work of bringing people the news of how to be saved through Christ.
Everyone is welcomed to come be on Mission with God at Bethlehem Baptist Church!
